About Pickzy

Pickzy is a small editorial team based online, publishing at pickzy.shop since 2024. We are not a shop, a marketplace or a reseller: we hold no stock, we process no payments, and we ship nothing. What we do is read listings for a living — comparing sellers, checking price histories, and writing up what is genuinely worth buying in electronics, gadgets, home goods and car accessories.

Our readers are people who don't have an afternoon to spend comparing forty near-identical listings. The job of this site is to do that afternoon's work and hand over the short version.

A deal reaches our front page only after three checks. First, price: we compare the current price against the last 30 days for the same item and the same seller, and we discard listings whose "was" price was invented for the promotion. Second, seller: we look at fulfilment record, dispute history and how long the store has been trading, not just its star rating. Third, product: we read the negative reviews rather than the positive ones, because that is where recurring faults show up.

Reviews and buying guides are written separately from deal listings. Where we have tested a product ourselves, we say what we tested and for how long. Where we have not, we say that too, and the piece is presented as a research-based guide rather than a hands-on review.

No merchant, brand or network can pay to appear on Pickzy, to change a rating, or to have a criticism removed. Ranking decisions are made by the editorial team before any commercial link is added to a page, and a product's commission rate is never a factor in whether we recommend it. If we get something wrong, we correct the article and note the correction at the bottom of it.
